| OH MY GOSH...so i totally had like the best weekend. My Bestest friend in the whole world KARI came home to MD with me and we had like so much fun. We picked up like 20 really HOT guys and ate lots of good food. And like i was totally not shallow at all because i just want to have fun with the HOT ones , but i will definitely like marry someone for like their personality. But that won't be like for at least a year...and of course the kewlest football team evA The RAVENSSS won again...like they totally kicked some BoOTy. so like right now we are sitting here just chillin...maybe like watch a movie w/ some HOTTIESS later...anywayzzz peace out peeps..

| so my life has changed incredibly since i last wrote.
i just got back from the dominican republic mission trip, and wow was
it amazing. living in the 3rd world was really not nearly as bad as i
expected. basically what we did down there was build latrines (outside
bathrooms) and teach vacation bible school. i had a blast building the
latrines with our group. the two carpenters we worked with got a kick
out of watching us try to hammer stuff and mix cement (BY HAND!!.. no
machines!). everytime a nail was bent, it was given the title "un clavo
americano". playing with the children was amazing too. i only know a
little bit of spanish, but thats more than what i needed to know. just
running around with the children, playing baseball, and having tickle
fights was more fun than anyone can imagine.
our american team was amazing. i feel like i got to know all of them a
little better. we had a group of older adults work with us from a local
church too, and they were great. "me llamo....... MIGUEL!"
i dont even know what else to write about. there are so many thoughts swimming through my head right now.
i'll try to write more later.

| ok, so maybe i'll update this thing more than i thought....
maybe spending weekends at college isnt too bad afterall. after an ok friday and saturday, i had an awesome sunday.
lauren's friend from drexel picked us up to take us to church (since
tiff couldnt take us). he seemed like a really nice guy...and his car
was nice too lol. i really liked the church we went to, i had never
been there before.
when i got back from church i did some homework and some very needed
laundry. then some girls from the hall and some other ppl went to these
ppl's house for a super bowl party. this house belonged to these ppl
that a girl on my hall babysits for. the guy was home, but he was
upstairs, and the mom and her kids got home a little after the game
started. we made all kinds of pizzas, taco dip, and cookies. the
highlight of my evening was when a few of us tried to teach these 2
guys how to play clue. they were clueless through the whole entire game
(no pun intended  ) "mr. brown, in the conservatory...." "first of
all, there isn't a mr brown.... and second of all you're not even in
the conservatory!" they did a really bad job of hiding their cards
too... and we all ended up figuring out which cards they had. i never thought a simple game of clue could be so entertaining!
just being able to have fun and meet new people was great. EVEN IF THE
STEELERS WON  . but thats ok, its not like i'm really a seahawks
fan... i just freaking hate the steelers!
anyway... i had an awesome weekend! thanks to everyone that made it so great!!
gotta run to musicianship now... woowho

| ok, so this is probably the last time i'll write... at least for a
little while... its really hard to find time to update this thing....
so i actually stayed at college this weekend. yipee. went to feed the
homeless ppl in philly last night which was fun. i met some new ppl,
but i didnt get to talk to them much. surprisingly we couldnt find many
homeless ppl at all. we ended up giving the rest of our clothes to a
shelter we found.
slept in late today... went to a DR team game night (which is the only
reason i stayed this weekend). we played catch phrase and apples to
apples. i had never played apples to apples before but it seems
like a neat game. our DR leader is hispanic, and he taught us how to
salsa and stuff.... i'm a really bad dancer.
once i got back i was going to play apples to apples with some ppl from
the hall, but kari and lauren got invited to go bowling so they went.
so now i'm sitting here with nothing to do. kari and lauren are
bowling, tiff is on her way home, and emily is watching oceans 12 (i
HATE that movie)....
guess i'll get started on some homework... yay.... what a way to spend my saturday night

| it's been a really good week at school.... although i'm procrastinating two papers that are due on monday but oh well.
had an awesome time trick or treating on monday. yay for houses that WANT collegs kids to come to their houses.
i'm going home again this weekend, but i'm not sure how long i'll be
there. we're having a mexico mission team party/first meeting. i'm
soooo excited!! i cant WAIT to see my team again!!! me and tiff are
bring two girls home with us from our hall. the one is interested in
going on the trip with us next summer.
i'm also putting an application in for a dominican republic mission.
mission trips are so freaking awesome, and i really hope i get accepted
for this trip.
welllllllllll i dont really have much else to say, and i really need to get started on this work
if any of my FRIENDS (as in people i actually talk to...IN PERSON) actually read this... leave a comment!! if none of
my friends leave any, then i'm just gonna stop this thing... its
getting pointless. (this means YOU billy, katie, steph, alison.... etc)
